It will present an overview of DigiEducate and provide instruction on locating Content Experts’ online educational resources and integrating them effectively into instructional activities to support student learning. Educational Leadership in the 21st Century  – Starts August 5, 2015 – This class provides an interactive e-learning experience to support the face-to-face Leadership Forum. In this course, participants explore and discuss school leadership in our students’ technological 21st century world. School leaders explore examples of best practices, examine leadership behaviors, and develop strategies to better support their teachers. They follow two administrators who work together to better use technology to support teachers and improve student achievement. Participants discuss ideas and strategies with other leaders in the course and apply them to their own practice. Mobile Devices for Teaching and Learning – Starts August 5, 2015 – In this blended–learning course, participants will learn how  mobile device can be used as powerful tools for teaching and learning.  When integrated with free, web-based tools and resources, mobile devices offer students and teacher, the ability to share ideas through activities such as blogs, podcasts, and data gathering. While there are many legitimate concerns about using such devices in schools, it is important that schools prepare students for success in a world overflowing with information. It is also important for students to learn how to use technology ethically and responsibly. The Mobile Devices for Teaching and Learning course will highlight meaningful ways that these mobile devices can be used as learning tools in and out of  the classroom, while also addressing the challenges and resistance that many educators face when trying to integrate the various devices into learning activities.  To register for this course, please click here.
